What is wrong with me?
This past July Kevin, his mama and I took a quick road trip to New York. Kevin had a little appointment with the people of The Voice. NBD. We woke up at 3am, packed up the car, drovedrovedrove, got to nyc, paid a bajillion dollars to park in a parking garage, walked down to the Empire State Building, didn't have enough time to go up, went through three floors of the ginormous Macy's, walked back to the building where the auditions were being held, waited in line, waited in line, waited in line, Kevin was called back, we had to leave, went to get ice cream, walked around, went back to the audition building, waited some more, Kevin came out with a big fat grin, we went to our wonderful host family's house, drank lots of wine, ate lots of pizza, had lots of laughs, went to bed, got up early, and drove back to Buffalo. phew. Did you get all that?
Unfortunately Kev never got a call back but he had a great time and loved the experience. Overall the trip was really fun and I cannot wait to be able to get back and actually do some sight seeing and take more than 5 pictures!

Oh wow, what a whirlwind trip! I'm so jealous. I hope I get to NY eventually :) sorry to hear Kevin didn't get a call back! But you're right, at least he had a great experience out of it
