My wonderful blogger friend Toni from One Chocolate Box nominated me for the Shine On Award!
So, so, sweet of you, Toni! It means a lot...thanks SO much!
As a part of the nomination I am supposed to share 7 random, interesting things about myself...
1. I am currently a substitute teacher and I kinda LOVE it. I sub at my old elementary the most and am having a fantastic time...teachers are starting to notice me and even requesting me! It's a big deal, guys.
2. My Aunt recently started a jewelry line (Beachy Keen Jewelry) and is doing a lot of craft shows this fall and she asked me to join her table for some to sell my greeting cards! So, I'm going crazy trying to design, print and package as much as possible for my first show on October 20th! I'm pretty anxious and excited to see how people react to my creations and I hope it opens up to more possibilities!
3. If a genie asked me for three wishes, I think my first wish would be to be a good singer.
4. I'm a cat lady. But you already knew that. But do you know how I became a cat lady? Well, I have been bitten in the face twice by dogs, all by the age of 10. Once by a German Shepard (no crazy damage done, just some blood and tears) and once by my own dog, Max. I went to give Max a kiss while he was eating (don't do that guys) and he bit me...hard. I had to get 26 stitches on my left cheek. Needless to say, we got rid of Max (he also ruined all our furniture, ate meals off of our counter/table, failed obedience school, etc.). We then got a kitten, and another, and another. And now, I couldn't imagine my life without a cat! Although I still love dogs and would like one in the future...
5. It took me a really long time to write those four things. I don't like writing about myself very much...
