A moment

Day 9 of the challenge asks us to share a moment in our day.

Today was a good day at work.  It rained all morning and was cloudy and gloomy in the afternoon but we kept busy with games, toys, and crafts.  As soon as I got out of work the sun decided to come out and play and blue skies stretched out above me.  How's that for a "hell yeah! work is over!"

When I got home I noticed the beautiful, blooming crabapple tree in my front yard is already starting to lose a lot of petals.  But man, is it ever still gorgeous!  I've already taken about a million pictures of it, but I can't help myself...I grabbed my camera (again) and took about 20 (thousand) more.  How could you not?!

Taking a moment out of my day to appreciate the little Spring beauties God gives us is a must on my schedule.

Spring has Sprung

I'm in love with the sun flares and imperfections of these photos from the garden.  We had a few snow flurries over the weekend but the sun was shining the whole time.  It was really quite beautiful.  

Praying that the sunshine is here to stay.

You can see Buffalo's skyline in the distance, gorgeous sunny skies, and...what's that? 

Water? Water in Lake Erie?! Ahh, yes. The ice is melting & drifting down the Niagara River.

Spring Tease

Today was wonderful.

The sun was shining, there was a slight breeze and it was in the SIXTIES!

That's a big deal for this Buffalo girl.

As I've said before I am not a fan of winter.

no way. no how.

Spring is my favorite season.

And I got a little taste of Spring this weekend!

Look who popped up to say hi!

Bring it on Mother Nature!
